Itineraries
Day 1
Depart from Siliguri/ Bagdogra in the morning to reach Phuentsholing. On arrival, check-in to your hotel in Phuentsholing. Spend rest of the day at leisure and have a relaxed overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2
Have breakfast and proceed to Thimphu. On arrival, go for some sightseeing and explore attractions like Trashi Chhoe Dzong and Buddha View Point. Spend evening at leisure and have dinner & overnight at the hotel.
Day 3
After a delicious breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing tour of Thimphu. Top attractions that you can come across here are Simtokha Dzong, Memorial Chorten, Takin Mini Zoo, Arts & Craft School, National Library and Textile Museum. In the evening, come back to the hotel for overnight stay after dinner.
Day 4
After breakfast, proceed to Punakha. Your first stopover after leaving Thimphu is Dochula pass. On reaching Punakha, you can visit Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple) and Punakha Dzong. In the evening, reach your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5
After having breakfast in this morning, check-out of the hotel and proceed to Paro. On reaching Paro, check-in to the hotel and later go for exploring National Museum of Paro and also visit Kyichu Lhakhang - one of the oldest temples of Bhutan. In the evening, come back to your hotel and relax overnight after dinner.
Day 6
After enjoying breakfast, proceed to the hill to explore the famous Tiger’s Nest temple. If the full hike will be tough, then take a hike for 1 hour to the cafeteria - a wooden tea-house restaurant enjoying the view of the monastery. After sightseeing, come back to your hotel. Have dinner and relax overnight.
Day 7
After enjoying breakfast, get transferred to Phuntsholing. On arrival, go for the sightseeing of the town and come across Zangtopelri Lhakhang and Karbandi Monastery. In the evening, come back to your hotel and have a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 8
After having a delicious breakfast, get transferred to Siliguri/ Bagdogra for your onward journey.
