Day 1
Once you arrive at the Kathmandu airport, meet our representative and get transferred to the hotel. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Sleep overnight before embarking on a sightseeing tour of this city. Kathmandu is the capital and the largest city of Ne
Day 2
Post breakfast leave the hotel for sightseeing in Kathmandu. Reach at Pashupatinath Temple that lies on the banks of the Bagmati River and view its 4th century architectural splendor. In the pagoda, which is two-tiered and has golden roof and silver doors, there is a holy linga of deity Shiva. Then, leave to the famous Buddhist shrine in Kathmandu – Bouddhanath. This stupa is the major centre of Tibetan Buddhism and the largest of its kind in Kathmandu Valley. Return to the hotel and relax overnight.
Day 3
After breakfast, proceed to Patan that is Kathmandu's medieval city renowned for its rich cultural heritage. Also known as Lalitpur, this city is graced with narrow streets and brick houses. There are numerous temples, palaces and statues in this city that dates back to the early 1400s. The most remarkable attraction in Patan is Durbar Square, which features a palace, museum and several temples. Later, you can also visit the Tibetan refugee centre which is situated in the outskirts of Patan and shop for beautiful hand-woven carpets and handicrafts like prayer wheels, jewelleries, belt buckles and wooden bowls. Later, leave for the Swoyambhunath, a popular place of religious interest that houses a stupa and various shrines. Recently a Tibetan monastery, library and museum are added to the complex. This stupa is adorned with multi-coloured prayer flags that flutter in the winds. On the dome, a pair of Buddha's eyes is beautifully painted which symbolize wisdom and compassion. Come back to the hotel and relax overnight.
Day 4
After having delicious breakfast, check-out of the hotel and get driven to reach Pokhara, Pokhara offers amazing views of the mighty Himalayan peaks. On the way, you get the opportunity to indulge in river rafting and paying a visit to the famous Manakamna Temple. The presiding deity of this temple is Goddess Bhagwati, manifestation of Goddess Parvati. Through cable cars, you will be taken up to the temple. This cable car covers a distance of 5 KM from the starting point and takes around 10 minutes to reach. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and proceed for sightseeing. Enjoy exploring Bindabasini Temple- one of the oldest places of religious importance in Pokhara. Goddess Bhagvati, an incarnation of Goddess Durga is the presiding deity of this shrine, which was brought here from India. Continue the excursion to Devi's Fall, also known as the Patale Chhango (Nether Fall). Thereafter, visit the famous Gupteswar Cave, which is in two parts. First part of this cave has a temple of Lord Shiva. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 5
Post breakfast, head for sightseeing in Nagarkot. Return to Kathmandu and reach Nagarkot, after 1.5-hour drive. This place offers awe-inspiring views of the sun rising and sun-setting from and behind the high mountains. You can also enjoy a close view of Mt. Everest, which is considered as the highest mountain peak in the world. Enjoy overnight hotel stay in here.
Day 6
After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu and head to the airport for your journey back home. Tour ends here
